Madison Miller
On a day when our offense struggled, Mad Women led us. She hit .162 (12-6/37) as she works to transition to left side hitter. Madison also passed an acceptable 1.62 in serve receive. Even though we did not stat digs, she did an acceptable job in defense. Her biggest problem today was reading plays as she was playing middle back for the first time in a while. She was slow to read tips over the block. Easily correctable with experience. All her time invested in the weight room and touching a ball in club is paying off. Madison is making herself into a very solid player!

Simply put, she had a phenomenal day! Check these numbers out. In serve receive, she passed 29 serves and was not aced one single time. She passed a 2.37 (69/29= 2.37). Wow! Of those 29 balls, she only had 5 out of system. And we are not playing Taylor or Caston or Sheridan. Those girls loop a serve. This is Pioneer, winners of 10 sectionals in the last 13 years, Jay County, 4A Jay Co., and Madison-Grant, 2016 sectional winner who beat Alexandra with their sophomore to be who has already committed to NCAA D1 defending National Champion Nebraska. This 2.37 came against good competition. And we are not done with numbers. I called 18 zones. Ebeth hit 18 zones. She served not just a 100% but was 100% to zone with five aces and obviously not a missed serve.
